When I was 14, our little town was hit by a big flood. It came out of nowhere, and we weren’t prepared for it. Jim, a guy whose ranch I worked on in the summers, grabbed his tractor, rounded up a couple of us strapping young boys, and we spent the next day and night digging people out, clearing roads, and fighting back mudslides. People tried to offer him money, but Jim refused. He just said, “That’s what neighbors do.” We worked ourselves to the bone, and when we were done that night, we did it all again the next day. We weren’t the only ones helping out either. Jim was right — that’s what neighbors do.
“We’re here to help” isn’t just a slogan — it’s been the FAA way long before it ended up on our vans and business cards. It’s just who we are. Nevada is our home, where my wife and I were raised, and where we’re raising our family. Even though Las Vegas and Henderson are bustling cities, they still feel like a small town to us. And you, the good folks of this community, are our neighbors. Helping a neighbor is just the right thing to do.
The team here at Fast Affordable Air is second to none. We have some seriously talented technicians, but that’s not the only reason we hire them. Every man and woman on our team has a heart for service — and that’s why we’re so proud to have them. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to do the things we do for the community.
To give back, we’ve set aside a modest budget to support local projects. We’re especially drawn to efforts that directly benefit the community. But don’t hesitate to reach out, we’ll consider every submission. Let us know how we can help.
