On this service visit, our Fast Affordable Air technician worked through a full Heating and Cooling checkup for a central AC system. The home had attic access in the hallway, a large return air grille in the ceiling, and two outdoor Air Conditioning units outside. Outside, we inspected the outdoor condenser units. The condenser is the part of the Air Conditioner that dumps heat outside. It works like a big radiator with a fan on top. If the coil is dirty or airflow is blocked, the system cannot get rid of heat well, and your Air Conditioning can feel weak or warm.
We checked for common issues like:
- Blocked airflow around the unit, including crowded placement near walls or rails
