Air Conditioning Repair in Las Vegas: Fixing a Leaky Drain Pan, Sealing Air Leaks, and Restoring Smooth Airflow

Fast Affordable Air was called out for an Air Conditioner system that needed help with moisture control and steady airflow. 4) Quick temperature check at the vent

One photo shows an infrared temperature tool reading about 67.9°F at a supply vent grille. Infrared tools read surface temperature (the metal or plastic grille), not the exact air temperature coming out of the vent. Still, it is a useful “quick check” to confirm the system is producing cooling and to spot big problems fast.

For a more precise test, we often use an air probe thermometer and compare return-air temperature to supply-air temperature to measure the system’s temperature drop. That helps confirm how well the Air Conditioning system is removing heat.
