Attic Duct Repair and Airflow Fix for Better Cooling

In the first photos, you can see long flexible ducts (often called flex duct) laying across blown-in insulation. Flex duct is a soft duct with a wire coil inside and a jacket outside. It works well when installed correctly, but it must be supported and sealed at every connection.

We checked for sagging, crushed sections, and loose hangers. When flex duct droops too much, it can slow airflow like a bent drinking straw. That can make rooms feel warm even when the AC is running.

2) Connection points and patched areas
