At Fast Affordable Air, we recently had the pleasure of upgrading a residential HVAC system in the vibrant heart of Las Vegas. This project posed unique challenges due to the compact space and the need for a high-efficiency solution that could handle Vegas’s extreme temperatures.
Procedure
Our task was to replace an aging air conditioning system with a new 4-ton 13.4 SEER2 EcoTemp unit by ICP, renowned for its energy efficiency and reliability. The process involved:
- Assessing the existing setup and carefully removing the outdated unit.
- Preparing the rooftop with new mounting brackets to secure the heavier, more robust EcoTemp system.
- Installing the unit, including hooking up the electrical and ductwork connections which ensure seamless integration with the home’s existing systems.
- Thorough testing to guarantee everything was functioning correctly.
Noteworthy is the innovative crane technique used to hoist the unit onto the roof, ensuring safety and precision.
